Boletes are often seen in the summer and fall and can reach 10 inches in height.
Sulfur Shelf
Sulfur shelf mushrooms grow directly on trees as shelflike caps. They range from peach to red hues in color. They grow in large, overlapping groups on trees or wood in the summer and fall. They can range from a couple inches to a foot wide in clusters. Sulfur shelf mushrooms are brightly colored and are also known as chicken mushrooms.
