Find People In Milan Italy

Thanks to technology, you won't have to climb to the top of any cathedral to find someone in Milan.

With online phone books, "people search" directories and social networking services such as MySpace and Facebook, finding people in the computer era has become arguably easier than it was before the days of the Internet. Still, difficulties can arise from time to time. One example of this might be if you find yourself in Milan, Italy. In addition to the abberations in directory locations and structures you can expect in a different country, your facility (or, in many cases, lack thereof) in Italian may affect your confidence as you try to find someone -- but you shouldn't let it.

Instructions

1. Consult a Milan phone book, whether from your hotel's front desk or from a friend if you're staying in his home. Although the Italian language printed on and in the phone book might be intimidating initially, remember that you're looking for a name, just as you would be in your home country.

2. Search for people using an Italy-specific online directory such as "People Search Italy," "Italy People Finder" or "Italy Farmhouses Rental People Search." If nothing comes up for a certain person, try entering "Milano" ("Milan" in Italian) in the city search box, as results may come from an Italian language database. If you don't have a computer, not to worry -- Milan has dozens of Internet connection points.

3. Browse social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace for a person who lives in Milan, Italy. Enter the person's fill name into the respective website's "Search" field, narrowing your location to Milan if the results are too plentiful initially.
