The Best At Home Colon Cleanse

There are many commercial herbal teas, supplements and drinks that will clear the colon in a directed cleanse. The best, most effective colon cleanse at home can be down by using enemas filled with filtered water and organic coffee.

Coffee enemas will clear the gastrointestinal tract. Different types of coffee will stimulate different internal organs, according to Carrie L'Esperance, author of The Ancient Cookfire (Bear & Co. Publishing, 1998).

Why do a coffee enema at home?

Hydrocolon therapy may cost about $90 to $110 per visit and normally does not including special requests to use organic coffee implants. At home, doing coffee enemas will move waste from the colon and help the gallbladder produce bile. This is a way to stimulate all of the organs of detoxification so that they function more optimally.

At home, doing six to seven rounds of coffee enemas is roughly equivalent to one professional colonic.

What kind of coffee to use?

Author L'Esperance writes that Colombian coffee is good for the stomach and heart, Guatemalan for the pineal gland, Mexican for pineal and Kenyan for the pancreas. Always use organic coffee because you are using it for a detoxification; using non-organic coffee will introduce the pesticides often used in coffee bean production.

Use about two tbsp. of ground coffee per two cups of coffee you'd like to use. Add about two tbsp. of apple cider vinegar. Use only cooled liquids in any enema preparation.

Safeguards

If you have any history of chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, liver disorders or eating disorders, get medical clearance before doing coffee enemas. If you have a history of leaky gut syndrome, diverticulosis, chronic irregularity or have used overused laxatives in the past, also consult your doctor.

Colon cleanses might be done to relieve occasional irregularity or two or three times a year. Coffee enemas are non-habit forming, but if you are unable to have normal bowel movements without them, see your doctor.
