Dissolve White Sugar

White sugar cubes.

White sugar predominantly comes from sugar cane, and from sugar beet. It undergoes four main stages before it is refined. Juice removed from sugar cane enters a purification process. During the next stage, crystallization takes place before the sugar undergoes refining. Sugar is a much-used product used in a great number of foodstuffs. There are several types: powdered sugar, confectioners' sugar (also known as superfine) and table sugar. Powdered sugar is super fine in texture and used for topping cakes. Superfine sugar is ideal for baking because of the texture produced. Table sugar is suitable for use in tea and coffee. Add this to my Recipe Box.
