Reheat A Whole Deli Rotisserie Turkey Breast

Picking up a whole deli rotisserie turkey breast makes an easy to serve meal, especially on busy days. When not eating right away, refrigerate the turkey breast until serving time to avoid spoilage. Heating the entire turkey breast correctly ensures the meat stays moist and the entire breast is warmed thoroughly. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

Oven

1. Set the oven temperature to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Place the whole deli rotisserie turkey breast into a roasting pan. Add 1/2 cup of chicken broth to the pan.

3. Stick a meat thermometer into the thickest area of the breast. Cover the turkey breast loosely with aluminum foil and place it in the oven.

4. Heat the turkey breast to 165 F internal temperature on the meat thermometer.

5. Remove from the oven and slice the rotisserie turkey breast with a sharp knife after allowing it to cool for two to three minutes.

Microwave

6. Put the turkey breast onto a microwave-safe dish. Place a paper towel over the turkey breast.

7. Place the dish into the microwave and cook on high for two minutes.

8. Remove the turkey breast from the microwave and insert the meat thermometer. If the internal temperature does not reach 165 F, remove the thermometer and place back into the microwave.

9. Cook the turkey breast for another minute. Remove and retest with the meat thermometer. Repeat cooking and testing the temperature until the turkey breast reaches 165 F internally.
