Make Scented Anointing Oil

Make traditional scented anointing oil.

Anointing oil is applied to people who are praying for healing or miracles. Door frames and windows of homes have oils applied to them to repel unwanted spiritual guests. Before being used for religious purposes, the oil is prayed over and the proper scents added to the oil mixture. You can customize scents to make whatever fragrance you like, but for a more traditional oil, use myrrh, cedar wood and frankincense as your scent components.

Instructions

1. Pour the olive oil into the glass bottle. Fill the bottle almost full, stopping about an inch from the top.

2. Extract oil from the myrrh essential oil with the eyedropper. Drop two drops of myrrh to the bottle of olive oil.

3. Extract oil from the cedar wood essential oil with the eyedropper. Drop two drops of cedar wood into the bottle of olive oil.

4. Extract oil from the frankincense essential oil with the eyedropper. Drop one drop of frankincense into the bottle of olive oil.

5. Place the stopper on the bottle firmly and hold your hand over the stopper while shaking it. Mix the scents well.

6. Take the bottle to a priest or pastor and ask for prayer over the anointing oil. The oil should be committed to prayer exclusively and used for no other purpose.
