To complete the hair design program students must complete 1,700 hours; for esthetician, 500 hours; nail technology, 600 hours; and barbering, 1,350 hours. Phagans' also offers combination programs, which might require more hours. After completing the required hours, students are eligible to sit for the state board examination.
