Coupon codes can help you save money online.
Online coupons and coupon websites give consumers the opportunity to easily save money while shopping online. Simple codes, known as coupon codes, can net the user extra items, free shipping or a percentage off of the purchase price of an item. For experienced users, the savings can be substantial.
Instructions
1. Go to a coupon website, such as RetailMeNot.com or MyPoints.com. Search for the store that you intend to make a purchase from. Typically, there is a drop-down menu at the top of the home page that lets you select from thousands of retailers.
2. Note the coupon code for your selected store, if one is currently available. If there is not one listed, look another coupon site to confirm there are truly none available. If you do see a coupon code, copy the code by highlighting it with your mouse, right clicking, and selecting "copy." Alternatively, some websites give you the option of clicking directly on the coupon code to activate it.
3. Enter the coupon code. In your "basket," you should note a place for the coupon code to be entered. It is typically under the total of your purchase. Be sure to copy or enter the code exactly as it appears on the screen because the letters might be case sensitive. Press "enter" or "submit" to use your coupon code.
