Instructions

Make Beeswax Lip Gloss

1. Heat the beeswax and the vegetable oil in the microwave until the beeswax is soft. The wax will not become completely liquid. Heat on high for two minutes and then test it with a spoon to see if it is soft. If you think it is soft enough to mix, then remove the bowl from the microwave.

2. Whip the oil and beeswax until they are creamy. There should not be any lumps in the mixture.

3. Beat in the honey, glycerine and five drops of essential oil. Do not stop whipping the mixture until it is smooth and creamy.

4. Store your lip gloss in glass jars. It should be kept relatively cool and dry. If the texture changes, or the lip gloss starts to smell funny, throw the entire batch away and make some more.
