Water


Rinse your foods with warm water before eating. For foods like broccoli, celery, grapes, citrus fruits and similar items, rinse first to get off the initial dirt, then soak them in water for two to three hours for a more thorough cleaning.

Scrub the fruits and vegetables while rinsing with a fruit and vegetable brush, which can be found at any grocery store. This type of brush is soft and designed to safely remove buildup from the fruits and vegetables without causing damage. White Vinegar


White vinegar is a natural disinfectant that cleans fruits and vegetables well. Mix one part white vinegar and three parts water in the spray bottle, spray directly onto the fruits and vegetables and scrub with your brush. Rinse the foods with warm water for one final cleaning.
