Make Hamburgers On The Stove

Make Hamburgers on the Stove

People everywhere enjoy eating burgers at least once in a while, whether they are made in a restaurant or made at home. Burgers can be made in a number of ways, from cooking them in a rotisserie to baking them in the oven with aluminum foil. Especially when they are made on the stove, hamburgers taste delicious. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Pat out the burger patties. Shape the patties however big or small and thick or thin that you want them. Remember that ground beef shrinks up when cooking, so take that into account when sizing.

2. Place the burgers in the skillet and turn the burner on medium heat. Make sure the handle is turned away from the front of the stove, especially if you have children.

3. Place a lid on the skillet. This will prevent grease from spattering all over the stove, making more of a job for you to clean up.

4. Cook the burgers for about 8 minutes and then flip them over in the pan. Cook for 7 or 8 more minutes. It doesn't take long to cook burgers, just watch them so they won't burn.

5. Take the spatula and press the corner in the middle of the burger. Next, gently press the spatula down on the burger. If the burger is done, then clear juices will bubble up. If the juices are not clear, then cook for a few minutes more and then check again by pressing on the burger.
