Clear Plu Keys On A Sharp Era320 Manual

The first cash register was invented in 1879.

The Sharp ER-A320 is an electronic cash register designed with small businesses in mind. The cash register is commonly used in retail and hospitality businesses. One of the features of the cash register is that it holds 600 price look-up codes, or PLUs. Businesses use PLU codes because they help them identify popular selling items and keep track of items on special. The PLU codes are stored in the register's memory. Using the master reset function can clear the PLU keys.

Instructions

1. Unplug the AC cord from the electrical outlet. The ER-A320 will flash a decimal point on the far right of the display screen. It will also beep 3 times.

2. Turn the mode switch to the SRV' position. The mode switch is located on the upper right corner of the cash register.

3. Plug the AC cord back into the electrical outlet. Hold down the "Journal Feed" key. While holding the key down, turn the mode dial from the SRV' to the SRV position. The ER-A320 will print out a receipt with 6 stars and the number 1.
